          MARION CLARK

My name is Marion Clark and I am a Northumbrian, born in Longframlington
in 1939, lived there until 1969 and have lived in Felton ever since.  I was
involved in my family's business at Longframlington until I married, moved
to Felton where I was the involved with my new family (Clark) and the
running of the Butcher's business here.  So I do know the area and I do
         know the people.

When we retired in 1990 I was also to hopefully give something back to
the community.  I joined the Parish Council, which led to me being the Parish
Council representative on the Village Hall Committee, running the Village
Hall 200 Club and being part of Felton-in-Bloom.  I am also involved in the
organisations of Felton and Thirston Fair, as well as the distribution of the
         Bridge Newsletter.

As a representative of the villagers on the Parish Council I am always
available to help and I try my best to sort out problems for people in the
village, listen to their comments and act upon them.
